If you’re interested in helping the asylum seekers, right now, we have an idea that everyone can do at home. If you want to make Love Bags to help, We can personally guarantee that we'll get these into the hands of the families within days.
Following you’ll find some ideas that you can use:

HYGIENE BAGS: Using travel sizes or hotel sizes Soap Toothpaste Travel toothbrush Hand sanitizer Shampoo/Conditioner Lotion Washcloth Comb |
MUNCHIE BAGS: all nonperishable Granola bar Raisins Welches gummies Bag of peanuts Package of cookies Package of crackers/chips |
TOY BAGS: Crayons Small coloring book Puzzle Action figure Small rubber ball |
All of the above items are just ideas and they can be customized any way you’d like. The idea is, everything must fit in an already packed backpack, so keeping things to a ziplock (any size) is necessary. If you’d like to participate, simply make as many goodie bags as you can (Goodie bag parties are always fun) and bring them with you to the event. We will collect them all and make sure they are received by those who need them most.
Also, you are welcome to put an encouraging note in the bags, in Spanish, for these weary travelers (google translate will help). They’ll love that.
